How BWS Skool Works for Instructors

Our instructors are the best in their respective fields. When you are deciding to join our team, here are some things to consider:

• Curriculum: You will be required to develop a curriculum on the agreed-upon topic or topics. You will be asked to create a complete course, typically 3 to 10 episodes, each 40-60 minutes. If you are a skilled presenter, your curriculum can be a simple outline or notes to aid in your presentation. We DO NOT need a complete study course with texts and materials.

• Lights, Camera, Action: You will need to be comfortable with being recorded, and you will need to agree to allow your lectures or presentations to be posted on our Skool platform.

• Recording Environments: There are two options for your recording environment. We can record your course in our home studio in Waco, Texas. This is preferred as we have complete control over audio, camera angles, and lighting. With this recording environment, we can add text and graphics to the video. If this is not desired, the second option is taping in front of a live classroom. Choose the option you feel most comfortable with so your presentation can be the best it can be.

• Presentation Style: We want our classes to be as engaging and compelling as possible. We prefer that the presentations are not simply a reading of a paper, but are an active lecture style.

• Time Commitment: Most of your investment is up-front: developing and recording your curriculum. We should be able to record 3 to 4 episodes in a day. This is a community platform, so some engagement may be required, such as answering students’ questions.

• Compensation: For paid courses, you will be paid royalties of 40% of all earnings. As the community grows, more paid courses are anticipated. Payments will be distributed monthly. The arrangement is an independent contractor type relationship with 1099 for IRS purposes.
